CASALE MONFERRATO. A ten thousand seat facility, built in lelamellar, eco-sustainable, which would house the club’s headquarters, equipped with a restaurant and a gym. Privately owned. This could be the new face of the Natale Palli Stadium in Casale Monferrato, the subject of ambitious evaluations by the Console & Partners, a financial brokerage company based in Turin and, from this summer, owner of the Nerostellato association.
After setting up a competitive team to immediately attempt the leap between the professionals, the new owners of Casale Fbc, in D, would like to renovate the historic city sports facility, setting up a stadium from scratch that rises in the same point where today the Nerostellati play their competitions: «Restructuring Palli was one of our objectives – says the president Simone Servetti – ever since we acquired the club. We would like to create a green structure, because our property is attentive to environmental policies, and which can represent an important capitalization for the football team and for the city ». «To create in Casale – explains the number one nerostellato – a model that can also be replicated elsewhere, by building a structure owned by the club and hosting commercial activities, the registered office, a store dedicated to our team and even a small multipurpose clinic. What if ten thousand places aren’t too many? No, because in our sporting plans there is the achievement of Serie B and, at that point, we would be ready to welcome even a large guest audience. If we win the D we would pose the first stone in summer ». In short, important projects that will be officially presented to the city administration in the coming weeks and which should have a total cost of around ten million euros, fully covered by the property in exchange for a multi-year concession on the sports facility. Something similar to what was done in Turin. The soccer field will remain in natural grass while, near the Palli, a synthetic ground will be created, useful for the training of the first team.
The fechoed by the Nerostellato CEO, Michele Padovano: «The stadium needs to be modernized. Of course, great works must go hand in hand with sporting results. Our goals are clear, even if winning is never easy. We are frequently confronted with the city administration and we can say that we are faced with people of great competence and of rare availability.evil».
If the private project did not go through, Natale Palli would still undergo a major renovation, thanks to the “Sport and Peripheries” tender, won by the Municipality of Casale Monferrato, which has already allocated 300 thousand euros for the work: “We are ready to invest that money – says the commissioner at Sport, Luca Novelli – to secure the grandstand, replace the boiler, the lighting headlights and set up a multipurpose field. However, we welcome the initiative of the Club. If the property of the Casale wanted to invest privately, we would gladly give up the public money won in the ban.do».
