a new alarm from the Ministry of Health

The Ministry of Health is launching a new food alarm and this time it concerns contaminated milk: the health of consumers is at risk.

The Ministry is alerting consumers not to consume milk. It is a food widely used by both adults and children, for its beneficial properties.

There are different types of milk on the market, some of which have been designed to allow even the lactose intolerant or vegetarians to consume the drink. For this reason, consumers will find numerous brands and types of milk on supermarket shelves.

These are mostly tested and certified products, therefore safe for the consumer. Despite their excellent level of quality, there is no shortage of random checks that are used to verify that it is always guaranteed the same standard.

Sometimes these tests reveal elements that are dangerous to human health and are obligatory producers or the Ministry of Health to order the withdrawal from supermarket shelves.

This exceptional measure is taken whenever critical issues arise that expose a concrete health risks for consumers.

Contaminated milk: what’s going on?

Il contaminated milk for which the Ministry of Health has ordered the withdrawal from the market, and the ban on consumption by people who have already purchased the dangerous product, is “World Trade Srl”, with headquarters of the storage plant in Torre Lupara – Pastorano ( THERE IS).

The note released by the Ministry clearly refers to 400 g pack of powdered milk. As stated in the press release, in fact, “Food produced in an establishment not recognized and deemed unsuitable under the law”.

The Ministry is recommended with consumers who have purchased the product of do not consume it e you return it to the point of sale where they made the purchase.

According to what is established by the regulations in force, the merchant is required to fully reimburse the purchase cost of the contaminated product.

In short, the milk in question is not necessarily contaminated. However, having been produced in a factory that does not have all the permits required by law, it may not have taken the necessary measures to ensure the right level of quality and hygiene during the production process.

Then, since it is powdered milk intended for feeding children, it is good to avoid taking risks. Suffice it to say that products intended for early childhood are subjected to stricter and more scrupulous checks. Therefore, the idea of giving a child a product that has not been given the green light by the competent bodies is a risk that is not worth taking.
