“Apple and Meta have handed over user data to fake law enforcement”

Apple and Meta have handed over their users’ data to hackers disguised as law enforcement. This was reported by the Bloomberg agency citing some sources, according to which the two giants delivered data such as addresses, telephone numbers and IP addresses to hackers who requested them with the emergency formula, with which it is not necessary a court order. Snap received a similar request from the hackers themselves but it’s unclear whether they provided the data.
