03/08/2024 – On the occasion of the World Brain Weekthe Parma healthcare companies join the Open Day promoted by Fondazione Onda dedicated to correct information on multiple sclerosis. The aim of the initiative is to provide patients and their families with the cognitive tools useful to better deal with the disease and any “relapses”, different from person to person, which can manifest themselves with reduction of strength, tingling in the limbs, vision problems, weakening of the sense of touch, balance or cognitive function disorders.

There are numerous treatments available today, the result of many years of research on the topic, capable of reducing the frequency and severity of relapses and, in the long term, slowing down the progression of the disease. For this reason, it is important to consult with the neurologist who follows the patient’s clinical history, aimed at directing the most suitable personalized therapeutic choice.

Precisely to clarify the different facets that characterize this condition, the Professor Franco Granella with doctors Erica Curti and Elena Tsantes from the Neurology Operating Unit of the Ospedale Maggiore will be available to answer questions and clarify patients’ doubts.
