The meeting of the Management of the Local Health Authority of Modena was held this morning, March 4th – in particular the Health Director Romana Bacchi and the Director of the Pavullo District, Massimo Brunetti were present – with the Mayors of the Fanano district , Sestola and Montecreto, to analyze the situation of the emergency and urgency networks in that area; further meetings will be scheduled with doctors, unions and the Local Health Authority in the coming days with the aim of maximum involvement in the professional component’s projects to identify shared solutions as requested by the Mayors.

The Ausl Management underlined first of all that there is no strategy aimed at reducing services which instead continue to be fully guaranteed throughout the area. The Mayors have in fact verified the willingness to work on projects that take into account the needs of citizens and professionals regarding the emergency, and the willingness of the Company and the Region to continue to guarantee services in these territories.
In order to respond specifically and appropriately to the needs of the mountains, the Company was already working on a specific project to evolve the Fanano structure towards a model of Assistance and Emergency Center for the mountains, even more responsive to specific needs. of its citizens, also in reference to particular orogeographic characteristics.

In response to the Mayors’ request for maximum attention to emergency services, the Company has once again reiterated its commitment to maintaining the quality of a model which is currently fully capable of managing emergencies in that area and which its indicators are punctually monitored in order to ensure the best assistance. As well as that of the care continuity network which today can benefit from the presence of innovative models, such as that of the Cau, which are integrated into the primary care network.

Specifically in Sestola, it was reiterated that the continuity of care clinic will be kept open for outpatient visits during holidays and days before holidays, just as home visits will be guaranteed in the area, maintaining the same conditions that have existed up until now. Services guaranteed even during periods of tourist influx.
To deal with the general problem of finding doctors for these services, the Company is constantly working to find professionals to cover the various continuity of care clinics throughout the Frignano area.
