It’s been revealed that Avatar: Pandora’s Frontier isn’t the only Avatar game planned for 2022.Yes, another game set in the James Cameron sci-fi universeannouncementIt was announced earlier that the project is expected to be an MMORPG shooting mobile game titled “Avatar: Reckoning”.
Coming from developer Archosaur Games and produced by Tencent, Lightstorm Entertainment, and Disney, we’re told in the brief information we’ve provided so far that the game will be coming to iOS and Android sometime this year.
As for how it works, players will be able to create their own Avatar to explore Pandora, fight humans, meet other Na’vi clans, and make contact with a range of other creatures on Earth, according to IGN. It was also mentioned that the game will involve both single-player and multiplayer, and that there will be single-player story missions, as well as co-op missions and PvP action, all using touchscreen controls for the mobile platform.
