Coronavirus, 149 new infections and two deaths in Fvg

Today in Friuli Venezia Giulia on 5,066 molecular swabs were detected 132 new infections (including five migrants or asylum seekers) with a positive rate of 2.61%. I am also 20,719 rapid tests antigenic made, from which they were detected 17 almost (0,08%).

Today they register two deaths: it is a 69-year-old woman from Trieste, who died in hospital, and a 63-year-old from San Vito al Tagliamento, who died at home. The number of people hospitalized in intensive care has dropped to six, while 54 patients are hospitalized in other departments. This was announced by the deputy governor of the Region with responsibility for Health Riccardo Riccardi.

Overall deaths amounted to 3,841, with the following territorial subdivision: 837 in Trieste, 2,026 in Udine, 681 in Pordenone and 297 in Gorizia. The totally healed are 110,343, the clinically healed 31 and 989 people in isolation.

A total of 115,264 people have been positive since the start of the pandemic in Friuli Venezia Giulia (the total of positive cases was reduced by 2 units following an antigen test not confirmed by molecular swab and a positive test removed following the review of the case) with the following territorial subdivision: 23,910 in Trieste, 52,851 in Udine, 23,089 in Pordenone, 13,807 in Gorizia and 1,607 from outside the region.

As far as the regional health system is concerned, the positive results of: a nurse from the Giuliano Isontina university health agency were found; 2 nurses from the Friuli Centrale University Health Authority; a nurse from the Irccs Burlo Garofolo of Trieste and a doctor from the Oncology Reference Center of Aviano. With regard to residential facilities for the elderly, there are no cases of Covid-19 among operators, while a contagion was detected among guests in the Gorizia area.
