Covid: Ciocca (Lega), remove limited number from Medicine - breaking latest news

(ANSA) – MILAN, 09 AUGUST – “To look to the future, to look at our health, at the health of our country, we must invest in the human capital of doctors, paramedics and nursing staff. The right choice that must be made right now is that of removing the limited number from the Faculty of Medicine and all nursing disciplines “.

This was stated by the Lega MEP from Pavia, Angelo Ciocca.

“The most important asset of a hospital and a health system is human capital. This must be present to everyone. Then come the equipment, the technology, the structures – underlines the politician -. Removing the limited number is certainly a courageous choice that must be made and we must ensure above all that in the coming years there will be medical and paramedical staff on the one hand to replace those who deservedly retire, but on the other hand also to face the peak of any pandemics and all the backlog of operations, diagnostic and prevention activities that unfortunately has been created for the Covid emergency.
