Just 39 new positives in the metropolitan area of Palermo, in line with the average of the last three days, with a downward percentage of 7 percent. The number of infected people is also drastically reduced in the period from 7 to 13 June: the current numbers are 1002, 242 fewer than the latest report on the progress of the pandemic in the city and in the province.
In Palermo, however, the distribution of positives presents a surprise: the highest number (16.4 percent) belongs to the 10 to 20-year-old group, but the forty-year-olds are almost side by side with 15 percent of cases found throughout the metropolitan area.
The least affected are children (8.7%) and above all the elderly over 80 with 6% of the positives, a sign that in the latter target there is a lot of attention not to be infected and that the vaccines have given the effect hoped for immunization.
