Covid. Speranza opens a fourth dose for over 60s: “We will follow the indications of Ema and Ecdc”

Yesterday, however, in a press briefing, the EMA explained that in the changed epidemiological scenario that sees a surge in new cases and a sharp increase in the incidence across Europe, a fourth dose of the vaccine should also be offered. to the over 60s and the frail of all ages. As soon as this position is made official, the Ministry of Health confirms that Italy will adapt quickly and, also following the indications of the AIFA, will immediately begin to expand the offer of a second booster recall to secure those people considered most fragile due to personal data or previous illness.
