The current sales data of “Winner: Pioneer” in the UK show that both digital and physical copy sales have shown a decreasing trend. Digital sales in the region fell 44% compared to the same period last year, and physical sales fell 26%. However, the game is still the second large-scale release in 2021 (after FIFA 22), and it topped the UK boxed retail charts last week.
The decline in sales may be related to a variety of factors. The game’s PC, PS5 and Xbox Series reviews scores on Metacritic are in the mid-70s, and its release coincides with the launch of several other large-scale FPS games. “Battlefield 2042” will be fully released later this week, and “The Last Battle: Infinite” will definitely cause a sensation when it arrives in December this year.
