White vegetables also have isothiocyanates, which help prevent cellular aging and allicin. The latter is a natural antibiotic and a substance that helps reduce cholesterol and regulate blood pressure. Selenium plays a primary role, among other things, for the thyroid.

White vegetables are also rich in sulfur, magnesium, potassium, calcium and dietary fiber. Furthermore, cannellini beans contain vegetable proteins, complex carbohydrates and unsaturated lipids useful against cholesterol. We have also seen previously the benefits of almonds and how just 15 grams of this food discarded in diets can prevent some serious diseases. And so for all the vegetables in this category.
