The new adventure action game “Flashback 2” developed by Microids was first exposed on the Summer Game Fest live program in the early morning of this (10th) day. The official said that “Flashback 2” is currently in production and is expected to be launched on home consoles and PCs in 2022.
Flashback 2 is the latest sequel to the 1993 action-adventure game Flashback, a reinterpretation of Flashback that launched in 2013, on its 20th anniversary, with the core team of the original rewriting their own A piece that uses the best of contemporary technology while retaining the classic side-scrolling style that set the stage in the 90s.
Officially, “Flashback 2” will be released on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC in winter 2022. The Nintendo Switch version will launch in 2023.
