Remco Evenepoel leaves the Giro d’Italia. The Belgian world champion, after winning the time trial that gave him back the Maglia Rosa, late Sunday evening received the news of his positivity to Covid. Evenepoel thus returns home and the Giro loses its main favourite. The veteran Rigoberto Uran is also out, again due to Covid.
