Congress for Health Networkers Plenum
The 18th Congress for Health Networkers from May 15 to 16, 2024 on the ESMT Berlin campus will offer a platform for exchange about the future of health care. Under the motto “Supply 2030: regional. digital. sustainable.” Topics from A, such as doctor networks, to Z, such as future care concepts, are covered. The program is now available online.
The opening keynote “Hot times, cool heads: The challenges of climate change for our healthcare system” will be given by the well-known TV weather presenter Claudia Kleinert. Their expertise promises insightful insights into the impact of climate change on healthcare.
The congress program offers a wide range of topics and formats. Discussions, workshops and guided tours allow participants to expand their network and gain in-depth insights into the future of healthcare. The variety of topics ranges from regional care to telemedicine and examples of digitalization to the effects of climate change on the healthcare system.
More than 50 renowned speakers will be represented at the congress, including Dr. Dirk Heinrich, Federal Chairman of the Virchowbund – Association of Resident Doctors in Germany. v.; Prof. Dr. Henriette Neumeyer, MBA, Deputy Chairwoman of the German Hospital Association. V. (DKG); Melanie Wendling, Managing Director of the Federal Association of Health IT – bvitg e. v.; Matthias David Mieves, MdB, member of the SPD parliamentary group and the committees for digital and health in the German Bundestag; Prof. Dr. Sylvia Thun, university professor and director of the Core Unit eHealth & Interoperability of the Berlin Institute of Health at the Charite – Universitätsmedizin Berlin; Han Steutel, President of the Association of Research-Based Drug Manufacturers. V. (vfa); Dr. Volker Schrage, deputy chairman of the Westphalia-Lippe Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians and Michael Weller, head of the health care and health insurance department at the Federal Ministry of Health.
Franz Knieps, Chairman of the Board of the BKK Dachverband e. V., who will shed light on the political decisions for supply in 2030 in his keynote speech.
Since 2006, the congress has brought together health care experts to hold practice-oriented discussions on health care-related topics. Participants have the opportunity to exchange information about the latest developments and best practices, strengthen networks and jointly develop strategies for future-proof, patient-oriented healthcare.
