Free Tetanus Vaccination Campaign in Forlì
Forlì, Italy – The Hygiene and Public Health Operational Unit of Forlì-Cesena is inviting residents to take advantage of a free tetanus vaccination campaign happening over the next two weeks. The campaign will consist of four afternoons of vaccination sessions, taking place on Wednesday 27th and Thursday 28th March, as well as Wednesday 3rd and Thursday 4th April, from 2pm to 4pm at the Vallisneri Pavilion of the “Morgagni-Pierantoni” hospital in Forlì.
The vaccination campaign is specifically targeted towards individuals who have never been vaccinated for tetanus or have not received a booster dose in over 10 years. Tetanus, caused by a bacterium commonly found in the environment, can enter the body through minor wounds such as a rose thorn prick. Therefore, protecting oneself against tetanus is crucial, especially as the warmer spring months approach.
In addition to the scheduled vaccination sessions, individuals can also book appointments for tetanus vaccinations through the Cup e Cup telephone line (800002255). Furthermore, vaccination status can be verified on the Electronic Health Record or requested via email at [email protected].
Don’t miss this opportunity to protect yourself and your loved ones against tetanus. Stay safe and enjoy the outdoors by getting vaccinated during this free campaign in Forlì.
