Ulss 3 is expected to receive the first loads on 18 October: the company has placed orders for around 140,000 vaccines, which will be destined in particular to the over 60s, but also those at risk, operators of essential services and health workers.

Both the family doctors in their studies and the staff who work within the Covid vaccination centers will administer them: the flu vaccine, as clarified by the CTS, can be administered in combination with the anti Covid one, which is the first, the second or third dose. “Compared to the past, the audience of recipients has been expanded, passing from over 65 to over 60 – explained Dr. Vittorio Selle, director of the hygiene and public health service – There will be a specific campaign on retirement homes, where we have 3600 guests and 1000 operators who will be vaccinated directly on the spot. The flu vaccine is free for those over 60 and for those at risk. In particular, for Ulss 3, 80,000 doses of Vaxigrip will arrive (intended for patients between 60 and 74 years), 53,000 of Fluad (aged 75 and over) and some other thousands of Efluelda (intended for elderly elderly people in the RSA). and immunosuppressed) and Flucelvax (healthcare professionals and patients with allergies).
