ROME – The commander of the ground forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Oleksandr Pavlyuk, has raised concerns over Russia’s creation of a new troop group consisting of more than 100,000 soldiers. According to Rbc Ukraine, Pavlyuk stated that it is possible Russia may try to launch a new offensive during the summer.
“We don’t know the Russian plans completely. We only know the data that they are creating groups of more than 100,000 men,” the general said.
The news of Russia’s increased military presence has sparked fears of heightened tensions in the region. The possibility of a summer offensive has put neighboring countries on high alert.
As the situation continues to develop, it remains unclear what steps will be taken to address Russia’s actions and ensure stability in the region.
