Medicine test. Over 45 thousand excluded from the rankings. Consulcesi: “Boom of appeals”

by admin

Of the more than 60,000 test participants, only one fifth will be able to enroll. “In addition to the irregularities, the conflict of interest between the Omceo representatives who were part of the commission, there were serious errors in the test itself which compromised the performance of the test and the attribution of scores”, explains Massimo Tortorella. The Consulcesi desk stormed: “Our experts are already working to prepare the appeals”. There are 60 days to contest the evidence.

07 OTT – “This year there are over 45,000 aspiring doctors excluded from the rankings for access to the Faculty of Medicine. Of the over 60,000 test participants, in fact, only one fifth will be able to enroll. Between irregularities and suspicion of rigged competitions, the students are exhausted, there will be a boom in appeals ”. Thus the president of Consulcesi, Massimo Tortorella one day after the first scrolling of the national ranking of the 2021 medical test. There are 14,020 places available, a figure considered inappropriate both in terms of opportunities and in terms of social welfare benefit given the shortage of doctors in our health system.

“The medicine test, in addition to the irregularities which involved the use of mobile phones during the test, the violation of delivery times and the anonymity of students, as well as the conflict of interest between the representatives of the Medical Associations who were part of the commission with the role of defining the places available, there were serious errors in the test itself which compromised the performance of the test and the attribution of scores ”, continues Tortorella.

However, the president of Consulcesi clarifies, the Ministry canceled only one of the four incorrect questions. This is question 56 for which a score of 1.5 was assigned. While for answers 2, 21 and 23 the correct solutions were not those indicated and made available by AccessProgrammed.

“The patch was worse than the hole and brings out the inadequacy of a system that is not based on meritocracy and which uses completely inadequate selection tools. The computer desk of Consulcesi regarding the closed number was immediately inundated with reports regarding improper performance of the test. In this regard, our experts are already working to prepare the various appeals within the time limits set by the law ”, concludes Tortorella.

The times for the presentation of the appeal are quite tight: 60 days to manage all the paperwork and prepare the documents correctly to arrive prepared for the deadline.
