Omen of Sorrow is a monster horror fighting game developed by AOne Games, originally launched on PS4 in 2018 and then on PC via the Epic Games Store in 2019. The game later landed on Xbox One in September 2021, with an accompanying statement stating that the game would also land on Steam.
A version for Valve’s platform is said to be “coming soon,” but no exact release date has been confirmed. However, we do know one thing now, that is, in addition to the previously announced Steam version, “Omen of Sorrow” will also land on two other platforms.
Publisher Eastasiasoft Limited mentioned in a newly released blog post that Omen of Sadness will also be coming to Nintendo Switch and PS5. As noted in the post, “For these expansion releases, Story Mode content has been revised and Arcade Mode has added new endings. The Xbox One version that’s already out will also receive the same content released as a free update. With so many new platforms on board, cross-platform online multiplayer will also be rolling out to all versions of Omen of Sorrows soon.ā
Additionally, physical versions of the aforementioned consoles will be available for pre-order at online retail partner Playasia on Thursday, February 24, 2022 at 11:00 PM Hong Kong (10:00 AM ET / 3:00 PM UK).
“Only 2,000 limited editions will be produced for the Nintendo Switch and 1,000 limited editions for the PS5, including the game, printed manual, soundtrack CD, and a numbered certificate in a collector’s art box. Standard copies are open for pre-order,” the publisher said.
