As the United States suspended PSA screening, the result was an increase in metastatic prostate cancer in men over 75. But is this consideration enough to think of instituting a population screening, which does not exist in our country? No, it’s certainly not enough, but a reasoning must be made, considering that prostate cancer is the most common among men, and is the third cause of cancer death in Europe in men.
