We often talk about crises within the partnership – and their solutions: communication problems, different wishes and expectations, sexual dissatisfaction or infidelity, and and and. But there is another type of crisis that can affect our partnership: namely when a partner experiences severe external stress – for example a stroke of fate such as a serious illness, the death of a loved one or an unexpected termination. Even if this stress does not affect us directly, it affects our own well-being and the partnership.
