Earlier this year, Jade Raymond-led game developer Haven Studios was acquired by Sony and will become part of the PlayStation Studios family. Today, after months of waiting, the acquisition is complete and Haven is officially part of the Sony Interactive Entertainment banner.
This comes from the PlayStation Twitter account, where they said: “It’s official! The deal to acquire Haven is complete. Welcome to the PlayStation Studios family, @HavenStudiosInc!
As for what Haven is doing now, details are scarce, but we do know it’s going to be an evolving game (so live service most likely). Again, now that the acquisition is complete, it’s assumed Haven’s first title will be a PlayStation console exclusive, as will other PlayStation Studios-developed titles.
