According to Tag Heuer, his “optimistic and lively personality can also motivate the wearer to enjoy sports better.” As your activities increase, the animated content displayed on the watch face will become “more lively.” The so-called “gamification reward system” will also motivate users with in-game elements such as mushrooms, water pipes, stars, and victory flagpoles when users get up and reach 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% step goals. .

As for the surface of the Mario theme, there are currently four options officially provided. In addition to the preset models, there are also pixel-style surfaces inspired by the 1985 version of “Super Mario”, a scheme centered on Mario hats, and another design that incorporates game elements and is presented in the form of rotating animation. It is worth mentioning that although these surfaces are now exclusive to Mario’s limited editions, Tag Heuer also plans to open them to other Connected watches in the future.
In terms of appearance, the bezel, buttons, and crown of the watch are embellished with Mario red. The buckle and crown of the watch are also engraved with a large M subtitle. The back of the watch is printed with TAG Heuer x Super The words Mario Limited Edition. There are two official straps for users. One is a combination of black leather on the outside and red rubber on the inside, and the other uses a pure red rubber wristband.
The Mario version of Connected is still equipped with the Wear OS system (the specific version is unknown, but the possibility of using Samsung to support the new system should be very small). You can use Google Assistant, calendar, weather update, Fit sports tracking, etc. on the watch Services, and can also run TAG Heuer’s own Sport, Golf and Wellness apps. The dial of the watch is 45mm in size and weighs about 86g when using a rubber strap. Its waterproof function is 5ATM, and the built-in 430mAh battery is said to last a whole day.
