CREMONA – New appointment with our video column dedicated to everyone’s health in collaboration with the Cremona ASST. A weekly appointment that will deal with a specific topic with the help of a specialist from the Ospedale Maggiore.
The topic of this episode is the well-being of our heart. Doctor Gianbattista Danzi, Director of the Operating Unit of Cardiology, addresses an appeal to all: «Prevention is a fundamental problem of this post Covid. This year and a half of substantially suspension of exams and visits I am afraid that in the next few years it will result in an increase in the incidence of cardiovascular diseases. So I feel I can tell everyone that good practices must be resumed. People who are at cardiovascular risk – hypertensive, diabetic, hypercholesterolemic, those who have family history or who are smokers – should try to lead a healthy life, go back to see their doctors, discuss with them. Cholesterol must be truly underfoot, blood pressure well controlled, and quit smoking. Another important aspect is that of teaching to recognize cardiac pain ».
