The rules for receiving health prescriptions on the telephone are changing

Starting from Wednesday, users who have not renewed their notification preferences on their electronic health record will no longer receive emails and text messages related to electronic prescriptions. This important update to the notification system was already reported through a warning window on users’ files in recent days.

To continue receiving electronic prescriptions on their mobile phones, users have two options to renew their notification preferences. The first option is to access their electronic health record on the fascicolosanitario.regione.lombardia.it website with their SPID or electronic identity card. From there, users can navigate to the “Profile and settings” section to select which alerts and updates they want to receive via email or text message.

Even users who have previously expressed their preferences are required to go through the renewal process again, confirming their contact details and choosing their preferred notification method.

The notifications are not limited to electronic prescriptions but also include updates following the uploading of new documents to the user’s health record or changes to their healthcare services. Users have the option to receive notifications for all updates or only when a new prescription is uploaded to their file.

Alternatively, users can renew their notification preferences in person by contacting their pharmacist, general practitioner, or pediatrician. This can also be done at authorized counters of the Como Asst.

The renewal process, whether online or in person, must be completed by May 1st to continue receiving notifications regarding electronic prescriptions and other health documents.Failure to do so will result in users not receiving these notifications until they renew the service.
