“The embellishment of our waterfront and the expansion of services continue unabated,” said the Mayor Angelantonio Angarano during an inspection of the construction site for the installation of gymnastic equipment on the coast road. “The equipment further enhances the psycho-physical wellness path frequented all year round on our coast and will contribute, with the greater services, the free beaches with services, the new splendid beaches with pebbles, the additional cycle paths, the equipped free beach for people with disabilities, to make our coast one of the most beautiful and welcoming in Puglia ».
The other two free fitness areas will be installed in two city parks. And also on this the Mayor Angarano announced an expected novelty that is already finding concrete realization: “We are carrying out an overall arrangement of the carousels for children in the municipal parks, replacing the damaged pieces to allow the children, together with their parents, to have places to play safely. We care so much about this activity which concerns the little ones and which was strongly expected by the Community, by the families and by the children themselves. In these days we will report on these interventions which also include maintenance for the next few years. Once again to the sterile controversies, to the spurious accusations of those who are in constant electoral campaign, we respond with work and with facts ».
The construction of the fitness areas is part of interventions that concern a series of important extraordinary maintenance, improvement and efficiency works of public buildings, urban areas and cycle and pedestrian roads. Funds obtained from the Municipality of Bisceglie are being used, for an amount of about 175 thousand euros, which involved the construction of a roundabout in via Sant’Andrea (work is in progress) and interventions at PalaDolmen, at the cherry market in via Padre Kolbe , to the cycle / pedestrian path of Ripalta and to the municipal building that houses the Tenenza dei Carabinieri.
