YouTube, born in 2005, is the longest-running social media, perhaps because it has been able to reinvent TV by sensing the propensity of people to enjoy video content and produce it. Its contents, both amateur and professional, attract over 2 billion people worldwide and 35.5 million in Italy.

4. iPantellas. The channel created by Jacopo Malnati and Daniel Marangiolo has 5.49 million subscribers. The two were among the first Italian youtubers to make funny parody-themed sketches and, over the years, they have always managed to stay on the crest of the wave.

3. Me Against You. The two youtubers Luì and Sofì are very popular among the very young and have achieved extraordinary success, so much so that they also end up in the cinema with two blockbuster films. Their channel has over 6.04 million subscribers, 3.4% more than the previous ranking.

2. FavijTv. Lorenzo Ostuni is one of the first historical youtubers in Italy. On his channel he always likes to review new video games. its 6.23 million subscribers, however, particularly love his comments and his “reactions” to other people’s videos. FavijTv recorded 1.5% more subscriptions to the channel compared to the previous survey.

1. Davie504. Over 9.88 million people follow Davide Biale’s channel dedicated to electric bass and his cover songs. His impassive expression and his videos bordering on nonsense have become a viral phenomenon. On average, his videos get 2.1 million views and the number of subscriber of its channel grew by 5.3% compared to the previous ranking.
