Ubisoft will shut down 15 games online on 9/1

Ubisoft announced that it will shut down the servers of 15 games on 9/1, at which time players will not be able to perform multiplayer connections or multiplayer-related functional operations in the game.

These 15 are mostly fairly early games like Anno 2070, Assassin’s Creed II / 3 / Brotherhood / Liberation HD / Revelations, Driver San Francisco, Far Cry 3, Ghost Recon Future Soldier, Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands, Games like Rayman Legends, Silent Hunter 5, Space Junkies, Splinter Cell: Blacklist, and ZombiU.

Turning off the online connection function of the game will allow Ubisoft to focus resources on new games and games that are favored by players. These games will close the online function on 9/1.
