Us Acli, football schools visiting the Olimpico: tour for around 200 children

A morning of celebration dedicated to sports culture and history, the values of sport, inclusion and fun. About two hundred children this morning visited the Olympic Stadium in Rome thanks to the tour created and managed by Sport and Salute. Three football schools, two from Latina and one from Benevento, affiliated with US Acli had the opportunity to discover the most secret places of the Capitoline stadium. From the team and referees’ changing rooms to access to the pitch, passing through the conference area, the tunnel, the benches, the athletics track and much more. A journey that tells the history of sport starting from a glorious past, represented by its inauguration in 1953, the third Olympics in 1960, the European Championships and the Athletics World Championships (in 1974 and 1987 respectively), the 1990 Football World Cup, the great victories of AS Roma and SS Lazio and the present with the great variety of events, including concerts. Once the tour was over, the children attended the Bearzot Award ceremony in the Coni Hall of Honour.
