Viagrande, a new fitness area in the “Aniante” municipal park

“Work has begun for the construction of the fitness area inside the” Aniante “municipal park: the work is being built in the green area located between Sergente Coco and Sergenti Sergi streets, opposite the central entrance of Piazza Matteotti “. This was announced by the mayor of Viagrande, Francesco Leonardi. “In these days we are proceeding with the installation of the six equipment provided and the alveolar flooring. This area – continues the mayor of Viagrande – was born with the specific intention of allowing young and old to practice sporting physical activity: in this sense, diversified equipment was purchased in order to meet different needs. In this way, the first outdoor fitness area will take place in a few days and will lead the way to the six stations that will be built as part of the refurbishment project of the F. Russo sports center. The intervention was carried out in compliance with the project approved as part of the 2021 participatory budget, for a total cost of about 18 thousand euros and is added to the construction of the inclusive park and the restoration of the artistic fountain, works completed in both cases. with the support of private partners; moreover, the Aniante park has recently been affected by the works for the construction of fences, connecting stairs and flooring, completed with the construction sites financed by the Sicilian Region, Regional Department of the Family, Social Policies and Labor.
