The Casanare Prosecutor’s Office impacted the drug trafficking structures that affect security in this part of the country.
During the last four years, the Prosecutor’s Office dismantled 19 criminal groups, including Los primos, Los Pasquín, Los Intocables, Los Berlin, Los Cripy, Los Chamos, Los Propios and Los Fénix, among others.
These criminal networks had been affecting the safety and tranquility of boys, girls, adolescents and residents in general of the municipalities of Yopal, Aguazul, Villanueva, Monterrey, Tauramena, Maní, Paz de Ariporo, Pore and ‘Los de La Décima’; among others.
Judicial police work made it possible for the Attorney General’s Office to prosecute 107 people on whom custodial measures were imposed. ‘Those from La Decima’.
The forcefulness of the evidentiary material provided by the prosecuting entity allowed 11 of the 13 alleged members of this crime network who were captured and prosecuted to accept their responsibility for the crimes of conspiracy to commit a crime and trafficking, manufacturing or carrying hallucinogenic substances. Several signed preliminary agreements in which they commit to collaborating with justice.
