Among them, Yunnan Bio Valley Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.’s “a new compound breviscapine ethyl ester with medicinal activity” has been widely recognized and used by virtue of its definite clinical efficacy and good safety, and has become a national basic medicine. The list of medical insurance catalogues has accumulated new sales of 4.5 billion yuan and new profits of 600 million yuan. It has successively won awards such as the National Science and Technology Progress Award and the “Top Ten Famous Products” in Yunnan Province. Yunnan Yunlu Runxin Aluminum Co., Ltd.’s invention patent for “a method for producing large-diameter 6063 aluminum alloy round ingot billet”, the product has passed the certification of the Swiss General Notary, the French Register of Shipping, and the British Register of Shipping. They were delivered in batches to CRRC, Austal Shipyard and other rail vehicle manufacturers and ship manufacturers, meeting the needs of national rail vehicles, advanced ships, etc., with an additional sales revenue of 2.59 billion yuan and an additional profit of 67.22 million yuan. The China Patent Award is co-sponsored by the State Intellectual Property Office and the World Intellectual Property Organization. It is the only government award in China that specifically awards patents for inventions and creations.
