Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has sent fresh seasonal mangoes as a gift to her Pakistani counterpart Shahbaz Sharif.
According to the Bangladeshi newspaper Dhaka Tribune, the High Commission of Bangladesh in Islamabad handed over 1,500 kg of mangoes to the protocol officer of the Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Monday.

According to Bangladeshi High Commissioner Mohammad Ruhol Alam Siddiqui, this gift of the Prime Minister will add a new dimension to the diplomatic relations between the two brotherly countries.
He added that the gift would “enhance the development of mutual bilateral relations.”
Earlier, Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina had sent a gift of mangoes to the President of India, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and former president of Indian National Congress, Sonia Gandhi.
