SACILE. She is 28 years old and the young woman who on Saturday evening fell from the terrace of an apartment on the third floor of a building in Sacile is an American citizen, while she was doing physical exercises. The flight ended in the garden.
The woman is alive and in good condition, but was kept under observation to undergo diagnostic tests (primarily the CT scan) and to verify that no complications occurred in the hours following the fall.
She was admitted to the hospital with a medium severity code (yellow code). As far as it was possible to reconstruct, the young woman was in the apartment – in a recent and not very tall building – with other people.
At around 8pm, she accidentally leaned over and lost her balance, falling downstairs. The compatriots who were with her asked for help.
An Italian citizen who was in the building, because he was about to move to the building, called the rescuers.
The ambulance from Pordenone arrived on the spot (that of Sacile was busy). The doctors, after an initial assessment, loaded the woman and transported her to the hospital in the capital. The carabinieri of the Sacile mobile phone also arrived on the spot, with the task of reconstructing the dynamics of what, last night, appeared to be an accidental fall.
