Acc, 40 workers posted to Sest for two months

Yesterday the agreement during a regional table attended by Commissioner Castro for Acc and the CEO of Sest Faggioli. The workers will work in Limana in the months of March and April

BORGO VALBELLUNA. Forty Acc workers posted to the Sixth of Limana for two months: this is the result of the Venetian table held on Monday, in the presence of the regional councilor Elena Donazzan (with the assistance of the corporate crisis unit and the Labor Department), of the extraordinary commissioner Maurizio Castro for Acc, of Michele Faggioli, managing director of Sest spa, and of the territorial secretariats of Fim-Cisl, Fiom-Cgil and Uilm-Uil of Belluno.

The aim of the meeting was to share the opportunity and the need for the secondment of 40 workers from Acc to Sest and the relative operating procedures for the period of March and April. The company and worker representatives have assessed the importance of this first agreement in the institutional setting as it is a prerequisite for the confrontation that in the next period will see all the parties involved in consideration of the sale of acca to the Luve group, of which Sest is a part.

In fact, the desire was shared to proceed rapidly to investigate the aspects of the sale of company assets and the transfer of workers with a view to maximizing the possible exploitation of the production potential of the Borgo Valbelluna site and the skills of its workers.

The Veneto Region, through Councilor Donazzan, confirmed that institutional support for the Acc situation will continue to be guaranteed even in this resolutive phase of the affair, with particular regard to workers who will not be included in the new company perimeter: “This first important step was only thanks to the great reputation of Commissioner Castro in the industrial world and the determination of the unions and workers to defend the production site of Acc », Donazzan underlined.

Satisfaction also from the Venetian president Luca Zaia: «A first agreement in the institutional setting, which I hope will be followed by others, reached with the same spirit: working as a team to give the company and its workers a solid future. Things need to be done quickly, but also well “, adds Zaia,” and I would say that both aspects have so far been revealed. I thank Minister Giorgetti for their commitment, all our regional technicians and Councilor Donazzan, all the social parties sitting at the table ».

“There are still many technical aspects to be explored”, concludes Zaia “, but the timing of the work and the collaborative spirit that distinguishes it are an excellent premise”.
