After the first edition in 2023 at Agora Senghor, the ”Resurrection Evening”, a major Easter concert, is organized again this year to the great delight of the Christian faithful. Save the date, place and time! It’s April 1, 2024 at the Lomé Convention Center at 2:30 p.m.
This concert initiative, called Resurrection Evening, is planned for each year, on Easter Monday in order to celebrate, with joy and praise, the Resurrection of Christ. The 1st Edition took place on Monday April 10, 2023 with the presence of Mgr Nicodème BARRIGAH-BENISSAN, Metropolitan Archbishop of Lomé.
“Christ is risen, Hallelujah! He is truly resurrected, Hallelujah! Hallelujah! This song of the Resurrection calls to us all. Thus, we are called to announce the Lord’s Easter message to the whole world with joy and jubilation. It is in this perspective that the initiative of a concert marking the Easter celebration in a particular way each year is placed; an event for the moment diocesan but whose aim remains national for the years to come with the mobilization of all the dioceses of the Togolese territory,” commented the organizers.
