The Casanare Energy Company – Enerca, announced the energization of the repowering project of the Aguazul – Maní electrical network in the department of Casanare; thanks to the work of the Enerca work team, led by Ericca Neita Pinto, General Manager.
After nine years, the Departmental Administration and Enerca SAESP culminate these unfinished works, with the completion of the construction project to repower the 34.5 – 13.8 kV Aguazul – Maní double circuit electrical network.
It is worth noting that until 2019 this project had a work progress of 36% with a pending balance to be executed of approximately $5,047,830,382.
During the year 2020, permanent work began, in which management was carried out to obtain property permits, environmental permit procedures were carried out, special conditions for monitoring and processing were signed with the DNP, meetings were held which concluded with the bilateral settlement of initial contracts; which allowed said resources from the general royalty system not to be released and the loss of their allocation to the project in question, thanks to the fact that ENERCA SA ESP, presented a Contingency Plan to the National Planning Department DNP for the completion of the project.
This work, which was in the process of execution for a long time, stands out as one of ENERCA’s emblematic works. The repowering of the Aguazul – Maní electrical network, with its 34.5/13.8 KV double circuit, stands as a testimony of the commitment and perseverance of the work team of the Casanare Energy Company to carry out great magnitude for the benefit of the community.
The Maniceños will have an electrical energy service with greater quality and reliability. This project not only represents a step forward in terms of efficiency and reliability in energy supply, but also contributes to the sustainable development and economic progress of Maní.
