BELLUNO. The wider the perimeter of the center-right, and the more there will be unity of purpose, the more chances the coalition will have to try to wrest Palazzo Rosso from the center-left. The forward flight of the civics, who have signed a pact to give a signal and a jolt to politics, stimulates the parties. However, they await the elections on Sunday and Monday to get going in view of 2022. Voting is held in Bologna, Milan, Naples, Rome, Turin and Trieste, large and important capitals, on which a change in the weights of the various parties could depend.
“Belluno is a capital and as such must await the national dynamics”, remembers Franco Gidoni (Lega). “In any case, there have been some meetings and the dialogue is open. I am pleased that this federation of civic lists was born, also because I imagine there will be a single spokesperson and it will be easier to compare ».
Luca De Carlo (Brothers of Italy), on the other hand, emphasizes the rediscovery of the role of parties, “of which someone seemed ashamed in the last election,” he says. “I’m glad the attitude changed.” The agreement between the civic lists announced by Civiltà Bellunese, Patto Belluno Dolomiti and Belluno belongs to everyone “it will be very useful for re-measuring the center-right, which is made up of parties and civic lists, which have always been an important reality, especially in Belluno” continues De Carlo. Which warns: “Before talking about names, programs come.” But it is also clear that the center-right candidate will have to be shared by all the coalition forces: “The more he is, the less chance he will be boycotted by someone,” says De Carlo.
“Forza Italia has always been a firm supporter of the policy of dialogue and confrontation, especially in this phase, in which it is necessary to build a broad and participatory understanding on the contents, even before the names”, joins Dario Scopel, coordinator of Forza Italia in the Belluno area. “For this reason we can only look carefully and with interest at the initiative of the center-right civic lists; the dialogue on our part is open and will intensify in the coming weeks in view of the electoral deadline of spring 2022 ».
The common goal, “for which Forza Italia intends to put all its experiences and proposals on the table with a leading role”, he concludes, “can only be a change of pace for the good of the capital city and its citizens “.
