The dream of drummer Tiziano Busin was a rehearsal room
THE MOURNING. Farewell to Tix who cherished the dream of a rehearsal room to bring young people closer to music and give them an opportunity to express themselves. Tomorrow (Friday 21) at 2.30 pm, in the archpriest of Canale d’Agordo, the funeral of Tiziano Busin, better known as Tix, who died suddenly in recent days in Falcade.
News that aroused grief and emotion among the many who knew him. A great lover of music, rock’n roll and Led Zeppelin in particular, Tix had been part as a drummer of various musical groups in Valle del Biois including Union. «There was no musical event at which he was not present», his friend Dunio Piccolin recalls, «his love for music was immeasurable. I don’t know how many rock festivals he helped organize in Falcade ».
A passion so strong that it encouraged him to share what he knew with others and to look for spaces where those who loved music could play. «A year ago», Liana Cavallet says, «she phoned me to explain that she wanted to ask the parish priest of Vallada for the availability of the rectory for a rehearsal room. Then he had called me back on other occasions to inform me about the steps he intended to take: he had contacted the Tirataie and was looking for connections to succeed in his intent ».
A will that came from afar and was the daughter of generosity and sensitivity. «In the past», says Andrea Fiocco with him in the Union, «he had thought of a school; he liked teaching kids to play: how many drummers grew up with him. And then he dreamed of a rehearsal room: when we played, we had changed several and every time we needed to roll up our sleeves to set up one, it would light up ».
Tix was unable to fulfill the dream: there is no room, a meeting point for young people. But it is a dream worth cultivating.
