CAPACCIO PAESTUM – “If you touch my children, I take your life.” An A4 sheet, written with a word processing program, shown by a separated father, during the dramatic phases of the separation, to the 40-year-old woman lawyer, originally from Capaccio, who assisted his now ex-wife. The perpetrator of the threat is a 50-year-old from Albanella. The episode alleged against the man took place – according to the public prosecution – last year, in August, during an interview in the lawyer’s professional office, assisted by his colleague Fabio Lanza. Twenty days after the first threatening message, the 50-year-old, defended by the lawyer Leopoldo Catena, returned to office, reappearing in the office. “Lawyer, do not make fun of me, otherwise I will do what I wrote to you” was the second message clearly of threat to the lawyer who represented the ex-wife’s reasons. In recent days, the trial that sees the 50-year-old from Albanella also accused of stalking his ex-wife: a 47-year-old who is due to the accused’s threats – writes the Prosecutor’s Office – in front of the monochrome judge Rosa Maria D’Antuono. The legal matter began a year ago, in April, when the couple decided to break the relationship from which children were born, those that the man says he is ready to defend at any cost. It is April 11 when he sends a first message to his ex: “Last warning: stay away from my house and my children because I will come to pick you up both of you”. After that he left with a series of phone calls and threatening messages to prevent the woman from approaching her children. One day he joined the woman at her workplace. The ex-wife worked as a shop assistant in a supermarket. And while he threw a sausage at him, he apostrophe with the worst epithets. Later he sent him messages and made phone calls that contained death threats: “I’ll let you join your father in heaven, sooner or later I’ll kill you and when I get the report …”.
The same accused continued with threats such as: “This story has to end my way, both by hook and by crook.” The threatening messages were also addressed to the person who was now with the woman: “I’ll come and pick you up inside the house, stay away because they control you, you have been warned”. Evidence was obtained at the first hearing. The trial has been updated, but the tension is still high. The man had sent death messages to the 47-year-old, assisted by the lawyer Giovanni Desio, also through his brother: “Tell him not to take initiatives with my children, because I’m going to take her home and I’ll take her head”.
