The national meeting seeks to promote social inclusion through sports and recreation for the elderly.
“The choice of Valledupar as the venue demonstrates the commitment of the Ministry of Sports and local authorities to promote the inclusion and development of the older population. In addition, this designation recognizes the management carried out by the Government of Cesar, in the promotion of opportunities and the empowerment of the elderly, “said the head of the Social Policy Office, Juan Carlos Mindiola.
The decision was made after the visit made on June 7 and 8 by the national sports authorities and after evaluating the sports facilities, the accommodation capacity and the necessary infrastructure to guarantee the success of the event.
