Chef dead in New York, the arrested prostitute confesses: Andrea Zamperoni died for a cocktail based on fentanyl

by admin

To rob him he had drugged him with a cocktail of drugs based on fentanyl – a powerful synthetic opioid analgesic responsible for a real massacre in the US – but the mix was so powerful that it killed him. Angelina Barini, the 43-year-old prostitute who was arrested on August 21, 2019 for the death of Andrea Zamperoni, the 33-year-old chef from Lodi who worked in a New York restaurant, after two years of silence confessed today, to the Brooklyn District Court, to be guilty of the disputed charge. And that is to have caused the death, as a result of the administration of a lethal cocktail, of the chef originally from Casalpusterlengo (Lodi), in charge of the kitchens of the well-known Italian restaurant Cipriani Dolci in New York’s Grand Central Station.

Zamperoni was found dead on the first floor of Kamway Lodge, a hostel in Queens just a few blocks from his home, poorly attended and known by the police for his drug and prostitution tours. Barini was in the room with the body when the police knocked on her at night on August 21, looking for the chef who had been missing for a few days. The complaint was made on August 17, after Zamperoni had not made the usual weekly phone call to his mother in Italy and had not turned up for work, where he was always on time.

During the investigation, Barini reported that the idea of cutting and hiding the body, later found wrapped in a sheet inside a dustbin is now in a state of decomposition after four days. Bottles of bleach, an electric saw and an empty suitcase had been found in the room: elements that seem to confirm the chilling hypothesis. Lescano will appear again before Judge Brian Cogan on September 25th. By that date, Barini, of Canadian origin, may have already agreed the penalty resulting from her admission of guilt by plea bargain. Both defendants are also charged with the charges of three other deaths, of two tourists and a pensioner, found dead of overdose and robbed.
