AVIANO. Road accident, Tuesday 28 December, a few minutes after 10 pm, in via Pordenone – the main street of Aviano – between a car and a cyclist, seriously injured.
According to initial information, a Chevrolet Trailblazer, driven by an American citizen, collided with a mountain bike, on which a thirty-year-old was riding, knocked over and ended up on the windshield.
Initially the thirty-year-old had lost consciousness and therefore the operations room of 118 alerted the helicopter, which landed on the pitch dedicated to the Cro. In the meantime, the injured person had been taken care of by the medical staff who arrived by ambulance from the Santa Maria degli Angeli hospital in Pordenone. In the late evening, investigations were underway on the condition of the injured person, who was taken to hospital.
The dynamics of the clash are being examined by the carabinieri of the Aviano station and the Radiomobile, who have intervened for the legal findings. The firefighters of Pordenone are also on site.
