Claudia Schiffer comes back to inspire Medusa. For the shots of the new spring/summer 2024 campaign, Versace relied (once again) on the iconic German top model, thus marking another chapter in a story, and a relationship, born in the early ’90s thanks to intuition and the genius of Gianni Versace. In fact, it was on the catwalks of the Italian fashion house that Claudia Schiffertogether with future super models of the caliber of Naomi Campbell e Linda Evangelistatook his first steps towards ‘the Olympus of fashion’.

Before closing the brand’s last show last September, with a metal mesh slip dress, Schiffer surprisingly returned to show for the maison in 2018, accompanied by her colleagues Carla BruniNaomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford ed Helena Christensen‘all’urlo’ di “Gianni, this is for you”.
The new advertising of the luxury brand wants to celebrate the energy and contemporary spirit of today’s Versace women and men, a new generation capable of standing out for its versatility and – as stated in the note – “for its beauty, its power, its elegance and its determination towards the future”. The protagonists of the shots, alongside Schiffer, are in fact also some of the most talented names of the new generation, such as Change Bahia, Mona Tougaard e Fernando Lindez.
The campaign presents the new Medusa ’95 bags: a tote bag model and a handbag characterized by a reinterpretation of the iconic Medusa hardware, which first appeared in 1995, and by a particular and luxurious leather with a powdered finish.
