Tuscany 6,367 new cases (average age 39 years), 6 deaths
In Tuscany there are 6,367 new Covid cases (5,345 confirmed with molecular swab and 1,022 by rapid antigen test), which bring the total to 402,960 since the beginning of the Coronavirus health emergency. New cases are 1.6% more than the previous day’s total. The healed grew by 0.1% and reached 300,595 (74.6% of total cases). Today 17,957 molecular swabs and 4,556 rapid antigenic swabs were performed, of which 28.3% were positive. On the other hand, 12,114 subjects were tested today (with antigenic and / or molecular swabs, excluding control swabs), of which 52.6% were positive. The currently positive are 94,797 today, + 6.7% compared to yesterday. The hospitalized are 780 (46 more than yesterday), of which 85 in intensive care (4 more). Today there are 6 new deaths: one man and 5 women with an average age of 71.2 years. These are the data – ascertained at 12 today on the basis of the requests of the National Civil Protection – relating to the progress of the epidemic in the region. The average age of 6,367 new positives today is about 39 years (19% are under 20, 32% between 20 and 39, 33% between 40 and 59, 13% between 60 and 79, 3% have 80 years or older).
Liguria 1,276 new positives, hospitalizations are growing, 4 deaths
There are 1276 new positives at Covid-19 today in Liguria, compared to 4323 molecular swabs carried out in the last 24 hours, to which another 1906 rapid antigenic swabs are added. This is the data of the daily bulletin of the regional task force for the emergency which also updates on the progress of the pandemic in hospitals: to date there are 557 hospitalized, 15 more than yesterday, 47 of them in intensive care. Out of the total of patients in the critical area, 35 do not have the vaccine. On the other hand, there are 4 registered deaths.
Friuli Venezia Giulia: 1,188 positives and 3 deaths
Today in Friuli Venezia Giulia, on 4,282 molecular swabs, 1,143 new infections have been detected, with a positive percentage of 26.69 percent. Furthermore, 1,057 antigenic rapid tests have been carried out, from which 45 cases (4.24%) were detected. This was announced by the deputy governor of the Region with responsibility for Health, Riccardo Riccardi. Today the deaths of three people are recorded: an 88-year-old man from Trieste (who died in hospital), a 68-year-old man from Trieste (who died in hospital) and a 67-year-old man from Roveredo (who died in hospital). The people admitted to intensive care remain 28 and the patients hospitalized in other departments are 298. The total deaths were 4,228, with the following territorial subdivision: 1,018 in Trieste, 2,080 in Udine, 784 in Pordenone and 346 in Gorizia. The totally healed are 140,268, the clinically healed 343, while the people in isolation are 14,440.
Sardinia 675 new positives and 2 deaths
In Sardinia there are now 675 further confirmed cases of COVID positivity, based on 3047 people tested. A total of 5538 swabs were processed, including molecular and antigenic. There are 17 patients admitted to intensive care units (2 more than yesterday), 159 (17 more than yesterday) those in the medical area. Finally, 2 patients died: a 68-year-old man and a 72-year-old man, both resident in the province of Southern Sardinia.
Abruzzo: 1,135 new positives and 2 deaths in the province of Chieti
Two deaths caused by the coronavirus recorded in the last 24 hours today in Abruzzo. They are a 74 year old and a 71 year old from the province of Chieti. Today there are 1,135 new positives (from 2 to 92 years) in the region, 639 emerged from the execution of the antigen test, out of 54,000 560 swabs performed: 2,599 molecular and 51,961 antigenic tests. 184 people are hospitalized in the covid medical areas of Abruzzo hospitals, there are 5 more admissions since yesterday. Abruzzo risks the yellow zone if another 14 hospitalizations are added in the next few days. There are a total of 22 patients in intensive care units, only 1 more since yesterday. In all, 87,087 people have recovered from the covid since the start of the pandemic. There are currently 22,000 positives, up from yesterday 1,223. They are 21,794 in home isolation, 1,217 more under active surveillance by the Abruzzo local health authorities.
