In South Tyrol there are 78 new cases of Covid-19 out of 8,539 swabs processed. In the last 24 hours, no deaths have been recorded for an overall figure that remains of 1,189. Hospital admissions of Covid patients remain stable: 22 in normal hospital wards and 7 in intensive care. The new positivity are 36 out of 1,337 molecular swabs and 42 out of 7,202 antigen tests. Out of 237,400 people subjected to molecular swab, 50,275 tested positive. There are 27,613 people positive for antigen tests. The total healed are 75,703 while 2,034 are people in quarantine.

In Veneto the incidence of new positives on the number of tampons is decreasing, as well as the subjects currently positive. This was explained by the president of the Veneto Region Luca Zaia. With 427 new cases out of 46,934 swabs, the incidence is 0.91%, while the current positives are 12,589, while last week “it was consistently more than 13,000”. On the other hand, there are 320 hospitalized patients, of which 261 in non-critical areas and 56 in intensive care. “But with this number of positives without vaccines we would be 1,500-2,000 hospitalized”, Zaia stresses. Approximately 66% of non-critical area patients and 80% of ICU patients are not vaccinated.

In Tuscany 279 new cases of coronavirus, out of 7,099 molecular swabs and 10,417 rapid antigenic, six deaths and 567 cured. This was reported in the daily bulletin sent by the Region to the national civil protection. The rate of positives now reaches 1.6% of the total tests and 5.4% in relation to the first diagnoses.
Encouraging signs of improvement in the hospital situation. The number of people hospitalized in Covid areas dropped dramatically to 420 (-16 in one day), of which 57 were in intensive care (one more). Since the beginning of the emergency, 277,279 infections have been confirmed, 261,126 healings and 7,069 deaths. In terms of quarantines, an important decline is reported in the number of asymptomatic people and patients in home isolation: they are currently 8,664 according to data from the health authorities (-278 compared to yesterday). On the other hand, the number of people under active surveillance rose to 11,712 following contacts with infected cases (+13).

There are 12,248 people currently positive for Covid-19 in Lazio, of which 448 are hospitalized, 62 in intensive care and 11,738 in home isolation. Since the beginning of the epidemic, 358,790 have been healed and 8,579 dead, out of a total of 379,617 cases examined, according to the bulletin updated by the Lazio Region.

The currently positives in Abruzzo (calculated by subtracting the number of discharged / cured and deceased from the total of positives) are 2093 or -79 compared to yesterday (the total also includes 407 cases concerning patients lost to follow up since the beginning of the emergency, on which checks are underway) 73 patients (-2 compared to yesterday) are hospitalized in the medical area; 7 (unchanged compared to yesterday) in intensive care, while the others in 2013 (-77 compared to yesterday) are in home isolation with active surveillance by the ASL. In the last 24 hours, 2996 molecular swabs were performed (1368004 in total since the start of the emergency) and 4612 antigen tests (762666). The positivity rate, calculated on the sum of molecular swabs and antigen tests of the day, is equal to 1.14 percent. Of the total number of positive cases, 20317 are resident or domiciled in the province of L’Aquila (+26 compared to yesterday), 20515 in the province of Chieti (+11), 19489 in the province of breaking latest news (+17), 19183 in the province of Teramo ( +23), 659 outside the region (+4) and 121 (unchanged) for which provenance checks are underway.
