There are 1,968 new coronavirus positives at 5 pm on Thursday 3 June and bring the total, since the beginning of the pandemic, to 4,225,163 (+ 0.05% day on day). The deaths, in the last 24 hours, were 59 (+ 0.05%) so as to total 126,342 units from February 2020 to this part. The currently positives counted in Italy are 205,562 (-2.14%) and of these 57.17 hospitalized with symptoms (141 fewer, -2.41%) and 892 in intensive care (-4.39%). People subjected to home isolation are 198,953 (-2.12%). In the 24 hours, 6,392 recovered and discharged were recorded (+ 0.16%). This is the picture that emerges following the daily bulletin of the Ministry of Health, elaborated on the basis of 97,633 swabs carried out against the 226,272 of Wednesday 2 June. The positivity rate is 2%, up from 1.2% the previous day.
Lombardy, 277 cases and seven deaths
The region with the highest number of new cases is Lombardy, where there are 277 (+ 0.03%). Only seven deaths registered in the 24 hours. The currently positive in the region are 21,529 of which 942 hospitalized with symptoms and 193 in intensive care. The positive / swab ratio stands at 1.8 percent.

Piedmont, 219 infections and three deaths
There are 219 new cases of people in Piedmont who tested positive for Covid-19, equal to 2% of the 10,814 swabs performed. 97 are asymptomatic (44.3%). The Regional Crisis Unit also recorded three deaths, of which one in the last day and 393 recovered. The decline in hospitalizations continues: 75 (-4) in intensive care, 513 (-29) in the other wards, while the Piedmontese in isolation are 3,798. Currently positive are 4,386. Since the beginning of the pandemic, therefore, Piedmont has recorded 364,920 positives, 11,650 deaths and 348,884 recovered.
Campania, 218 cases and eight deaths
There are 218 new coronavirus cases registered in Campania. 5,692 molecular swabs and 1,355 antigenic swabs were analyzed. In today’s bulletin released by the Crisis Unit of the Campania Region, 8 new deaths are included, 6 of which occurred in the last 48 hours and 2 occurred previously, but registered now. The total deaths in Campania since the beginning of the pandemic is 7,229. The new healed are 789, the total healed is 348,023. In Campania there are 54 Covid patients hospitalized in intensive care, 594 Covid patients hospitalized in hospital wards.
Lazio, 196 positives and six deaths
In Lazio on over 7 thousand swabs (-2.975) and over 3 thousand antigenic, for a total of over 10 thousand tests, there are 196 new positive cases (-15), deaths are 6 (+2), hospitalized 843 (+5) . 1,086 recovered, intensive therapies are 134 (-9). The ratio between positives and buffers is 2.7%, but if we also consider the antigenic the percentage drops to 1.8%. The cases in Rome city are at 123.
