Covid-19, a group of tourists quarantined in Valtournenche

Contact tracing has begun for the 4 Spaniards found positive for the virus

A group of Spanish tourists was placed in isolation after the detection of some cases of positive Covid-19. The group, about thirty people, is staying in a hotel in Valtournenche. Four of them tested positive for the virus and the entire party was swabbed and in solitary confinement and fiduciary quarantine until the results of the tests.

The health authorities have started the contact tracing activity to identify any other infected people. The results of the contact tracing “will make it possible to evaluate any quarantine initiatives or the possibility, for some, of returning home in the next few hours”, announces the regional administration.
