Covid, 47 classes taken over by the Prevention Department

The weekly report of the Ulss of Belluno speaks of a decline in positivity in schools: 14 children in quarantine, 810 those in self-monitoring

BELLUNO. There are 47 classes of all levels and levels taken on by the school team of the Ulss 1 Dolomiti Prevention Department for the management of Covid cases, 17 fewer than the previous week. In all, 14 people are in quarantine, a figure that once again highlights the decline in the circulation of the virus in the province.

Today, Friday 18 February, the health company issued the weekly report on schools. Of the 47 classes in charge (all concentrated in the area around the capital), only two upper classes are in quarantine, the others are self-monitored (for a total of 800 children).

Let’s look specifically at the numbers for the week from 14 to 18 February: at the kindergarten there are no quarantined classes and 54 children are in self-supervision; in elementary school there are 306 pupils under control; in middle school there are 108 children in self-monitoring; in high school, as mentioned, there are 14 students in quarantine and 342 in active surveillance.

From the Prevention Department they highlight that «the further decrease in the number of classes involved (-17) is in line with the current epidemiological situation. This is also reflected in the decrease in quarantined classes compared to those being monitored for all grades of the school ».
